The Fleur du Lac Estate featured in the cinematic classic The Godfather Part II is now up for sale.
Located by Lake Tahoe, the Estate was used in the film as the venue for Michael Corleone’s son’s First Communion party. It was originally constructed by one of America’s most famous industrialists Henry Kaiser, whose companies built the Hoover Dam just before he conceived the idea for the home. Its interior space of 4,200 square-feet carries five separate ensuite bedrooms on the second floor, including a master suite with an individual fireplace. On the ground floor, you’ll find the main living room’s seating area arranged around a cozy stone hearth, surrounded by large glass panes offering a panoramic view of the lake, as well as the open kitchen with polished granite surfaces and counter along with a smaller dining area for the more intimate gatherings.
