Investigators in South Lake Tahoe arrested a man on 99 felony counts — some relate to child sexual abuse — and believe there may be more victims in California, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon.

Scott Flanders, 51, is facing multiple charges related to child sexual abuse. That includes continuous sexual abuse of a child, oral copulation of a child, lewd acts upon a child and sexual penetration with a foreign object on a child, all under the age of 14.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant during their three-month investigation, which involved several victims in South Lake Tahoe.

Flanders could also face additional charges, including possession of child pornography.

  • San Jose
